Visitor Visa
A visitor visa for Canada, often called a Canadian tourist visa, allows individuals to come to Canada temporarily, such as tourism, visit family and friends, attend business meetings, and conferences, or explore opportunities. Before travelling, it is essential to determine if you need a visitor visa.
NSRIC immigration and visa consulting (NIVC) provides visitor visa and other immigration-related services to interested clients who wish to visit Canada as a single entry or multiple entry. A visitor visa is also called a Temporary Residence Visa (TRV). TRV is an official document that citizens of countries requiring visas must obtain to travel to and enter Canada as visitors for up to six months. Unless you come from a visa-exempt country, you will need a visitor visa to enter Canada, whether you come as a student, temporary worker, or simply to visit the country.
To qualify for a Canada Visitor Visa, you need to meet specific criteria, which include:
(i) being in good health and having no criminal or immigration-related convictions,
(ii) convincing an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit,
(iii) demonstrating ties to your home country, such as a job, family, financial assets, or residence, indicating your intention to return after your visit,
(iv) having a valid travel document (e.g., passport for at least six months),
(v) having enough funds to cover your stay in Canada,
(vi) no intention to stay more than six months, claim refuse and other offences against the law of Canada.
The required documents for this category (vary case-by-case) include
(i) a passport with a six-month validity period and travel documents (if applicable),
(ii) a recent digital passport-sized photograph,
(iii) electronic copies of bank statements,
(iv) income tax returns for the past two years,
(v) invitation letter (if applicable),
(vi) proof of a booked return flight ticket,
(vii) proof of accommodation such as renting an apartment, hotel booking, Airbnb etc.,
(viii) proof of ties to your home country and (ix) valid travel insurance.

- initial review upon receipt of documentation.
- preparing the application package.
- meeting the final requirement of IRCC processing (if needed).
