Work Permit Visa

NSRIC immigration and visa consulting (NIVC) provides the work permit visa through the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and other immigration services to clients who are interested in becoming permanent residents under the work permit.

An LMIA-based work permit allows you to work in Canada temporarily, specifically in the LMIA region, under certain conditions. To pursue this work permit, there are several key steps and requirements to consider. The work permit application process for LMIA is based on an LMIA. An LMIA is a document obtained from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and/or Service Canada by Canadian employers. It demonstrates that hiring a temporary foreign worker is necessary due to the unavailability of qualified Canadian citizens or permanent residents for the job role.

An LMIA needs to be obtained by a Canadian employer before hiring a foreign worker. An employer-specific work permit allows a person to work in Canada in accordance with your work permit terms and conditions. To apply for a work permit, most applicants require an LMIA-supported Canadian job offer. There are some exceptions to that requirement, where foreign workers can apply for a work permit without an LMIA or offer of employment. A foreign worker applicant must gather all the required documents for the Canadian temporary work permit above from his/her employer and the following documents and forms.
The required documents for this category (vary case-by-case) include
    (i) educational documents (i.e., diplomas, degrees, certificates, transcripts etc.),
(ii) electronic copies of the travel documents and passport(s),
(iii) employment letter from a Canadian organization,
    (iv) employer’s documents,
    (v) police certificates and clearances,
(vi) proof of required language proficiency such as IELTS, TOEFL score etc.,
    (vii) recent digital passport-sized photographs,
(viii) valid medical exams (may be completed later),
    (x) other necessary documents such as birth certificate(s), dependant information (if applicable), divorce certificate and legal separation agreement (if             applicable), marriage certificate (if applicable), and use of a representative form etc. if applicable.

NSRIC completes the process in three steps:
    (i) initial review upon receipt of documentation.
    (ii) preparing the application package.
(iii) meeting the final requirement of IRCC processing (if needed).
The overall process takes one to two months on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to contact us at info@nsricvisa.ca or +1 226 271 7206 (WhatsApp)] if you have any queries.
